Effective March 29, 2021, the Victorian Government introduced minimum rental standards for all rental properties, aiming to foster a fairer and safer environment for tenants across Victoria. As a result, all Residential Rental Providers (RRPs) must ensure their properties meet these standards by the time a renter takes occupancy.
